Drink Bottles!

Ever wondered what 41 drink bottles look like all together?


Well now you know.

I was really pleased to pick these up for a reasonable price on Trade me today. The more we look like a cohesive team the more we'll act like one. And the other cool thing is that we won't have all the boys wandering off at half and full time to go grab drink bottles and have a chat with the crowd. They'll be front and centre ready to listen to the coach.

Now I just need to get something to carry them onto the field. The regular drink bottle carriers are quite expensive but I thought those tool totes that you get from Plastic Box might work- they are only about $10 each- are there two families who would be willing to buy one for the team? Something like this one only a bit taller so the bottles don't fall over and fall out.

Welcome!

Welcome to the 2010 J2 Rugby Season! It was great to see some old faces at the muster and meet some new ones as well. I'm looking forward to getting to know the boys and their mums and dads over the course of the season! Practice starts Tuesday 30th and you will have all the details via email and or phone very soon.

Remember the boys should bring sand shoes for that first practice and a drink bottle and wear their own gear (not their Massey shorts).

In the meantime I thought I'd share a few pictures from last year as a taste of what's to come on the blog and the field this year.
